Rajini’s ‘Rana’ Not Dropped!
Younger daughter of Rajinikanth, Soundarya Ashwin, has clarified that the film ‘Rana’ is not dropped but only delayed as superstar still needs a couple of months time to start the shoot for ‘Rana’. K S Ravikumar, the director of the movie, also denied those reports and said that the movie will soon be going on floors once the superstar gave green signal.
It was reported that ‘Rana’ had been dropped for now and a new script is being readied by K S Ravikumar for Rajini and the new film would start its shoot in January 2012. The reason for the drop of ‘Rana’ was said to be that it would take much time to finish the movie and the story also required Rajini to strain a lot for the character and Rajini’s doctors and family members thought that superstar’s health condition at this point was not suitable to take up this character.
